ForeverWoW Beta — Server overview & how to join Important

Other October 15, 2026 Posted by Forever

Welcome to ForeverWoW Beta. This is a temporary community server for educational testing, built around the WoW Forever client and ForeverCore. It is not an official Blizzard server.

The realm open for testing

The Normal realm is currently available. PvP, Roleplay and Hardcore realms are not open on this installation; they are not additional playable realms at the moment.

Progression and rates

  • Maximum character level: 60.
  • Experience from kills, quests and exploration: x1.
  • Item drop rates and money drops: x1.
  • Explore Azeroth, level your character, learn professions and test quests, dungeons and group content.
  • This is a beta environment: content and scripts may have issues. Please report the location, quest or item ID and what happened when you find a bug.

Playing with bots

PlayerbotV2 support is enabled on the Normal realm for companion and group-play testing. Automatic open-world bot populations and automatic battleground filling are currently disabled. You should not expect every area or battleground to contain bots.

Accounts and character tools

  • Create your server account on this website, then use those login details in the game.
  • Search the Armory for characters and inspect their equipment, talents and learned spells.
  • View character models with the Armory's 3D viewer.
  • Use Players Online to see connected characters and open their Armory profiles.
  • Characters and their progress are saved on the server, not in your launcher.

Website and shop

ForeverCMS provides account management, realm status, news, a shop and the connection guide. The website is available over HTTPS and supports English and French.

The in-game shop is enabled on the Normal realm. At the time of this update, its catalogue contains 8 products across 3 categories, including Hearthstone, gold and character services.

The website and the game use the same product catalogue and the same account Points balance. Changes saved through the shop administration reload the in-game catalogue. Some services and special rewards must be purchased inside the game rather than on the website.

Points are currently visible; Tokens are hidden. Close and reopen the in-game shop, or reconnect your character, if you were already playing before the shop was enabled.

Joining from your own PC

1. Open “How to play” in the website menu.
2. Install the official WoW Classic Beta / Forever client using the Battle.net command in that guide. The server currently requires build 70374.
3. Create your account here and use a password different from your Blizzard password.
4. Install ForeverLauncher, download both connection-assistant files from the guide and run the assistant.
5. In ForeverLauncher, select WoW Forever, choose the game's _classic_beta_ folder and press Play.

Battle.net is used to obtain the client files; its Play button connects to Blizzard, not this community server. The installation command does not grant beta access or guarantee that Battle.net will provide the required build. Ask the team if your downloaded client is incompatible.

The connection assistant asks for permission before configuring the server's game certificate and Windows connection settings. Use it only if you trust this server. You do not need to open router ports or install server files to play.

Testing, feedback and availability

This server is open temporarily for testing and education, not as a permanent service. Availability, content and settings can change, and character progress is not guaranteed to be retained between test phases.

If you cannot connect, first check the realm status on the homepage, then use “Check connection” in the assistant. Include your client build and the exact error message when asking for help. Never share your account password.
