WoW Forever / How to play

Your adventure starts here.

Install the game, create an account and join us. Follow these four steps on your Windows PC.

01 Install the game

Already have the compatible client? Move on to the next step.

Otherwise, install the official Battle.net app and open it once.

  1. Press Windows + R, type cmd and press Enter.
  2. Paste this command and press Enter to start the installation:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe" --game=wow_classic_beta --install

Choose the game folder in Battle.net and wait for the download to finish.

Required client: WoW Classic Beta / Forever, build 70374, in the _classic_beta_ folder. If Battle.net refuses the installation or installs another build, contact the team. This command does not grant beta access.

02 Create your account

Register on this website. You will use the same login details in the game.

Choose a password different from your Blizzard password.

03 Set up the connection

Install ForeverLauncher, then download both files into the same folder:

1. Download the assistant2. Download its script
  1. Close the game and ForeverLauncher.
  2. Open Start-PlayerSetup.cmd.
  3. Click Configure this player PC and approve the Windows prompt.

The assistant adds our server to the launcher and sets up its game certificate and Windows connection. Changed files are backed up. Accept only if you trust this server; do not disable your antivirus.

04 Play

  1. Open ForeverLauncher and select WoW Forever.
  2. Select your game’s _classic_beta_ folder, then click Play.
  3. Sign in with the account you created on this website and choose the available realm.

Always launch through ForeverLauncher to join us, not through Battle.net.

Need a hand?

“Your account is not eligible”

Battle.net beta access may be required to download the game. To play on our server, use ForeverLauncher with the compatible client and your account from this website.

“No realms are currently available”

Check realm status on the homepage. If it is online, use “Check connection” in the assistant and make sure your client is build 70374.

Connection stopped working?

Close the game and launcher, then run “Configure this player PC” again. If the issue persists, send the team the exact error message.
